Love U has been scientifically formulated to deliver proven washing performance on the toughest of stains using cold water. Using heated water generates unnecessary carbon emissions and doesn’t improve the washing results. We recommend setting your washing machine to cold water for all wash cycles.

The Love U HereForGood re-usable bottle is made from 70% virgin / 30% recycled PET plastic. It’s been designed specifically to assist with blending and to be continuously re-used. You can wash it out, refill it and re-use the bottle for good.

Love U doesn’t use any single use plastic. Our bottle is made using 70% virgin / 30% recycled PET and is designed to be continuously re-used. Our sachets are made using 100% Home Compostable material and our shipper cartons are sealed using compostable tape.

Plastic negative is more than just the elimination of single use plastic. Love U removes more plastic from the ocean than the bottles we manufacture (refer to our ReSea partnership). Love U is eliminating or collecting more plastic than we consume (plastic negative).

The Love U factory operates using 100% green energy sources. Our customer delivery partners offset their entire carbon footprint. Our carton box factory operates using 100% solar power. While all carbon emissions generated manufacturing our plastic bottles are offset by 110% with the purchase of blue carbon offset credits (refer to our Southern Cardamom REDD++ Project).

Love U is minimising carbon emissions by not continuously shipping plastic and water. Maximising the efficiency of the products we do ship (concentrated sachets as opposed to bulk water). In time we aim to become ‘carbon negative’ by more than offsetting the carbon we do generate.

Love U uses biodegradable enzymes in our high-performance laundry liquid to help with the breakdown of stains. Enzymes help in human digestion to break down foods. In detergent formulations, they break down stains into smaller pieces, making them easier for the detergent (surfactants) to remove the stain. One of the benefits of enzymes is that they are naturally derived and help target and break down stains, even at low temperature, to deliver a great clean even in cold water.

Love U uses plant-based surfactants (cleaning stuff). The surfactants that we use are derived from RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) palm oil. These plant-based surfactants allow us to replace petroleum-based chemicals that are commonly used in cleaning products.

Phosphorus in the water causes algae to grow faster than ecosystems can handle. Significant increases in algae damage water quality, food resources and habitats, and decrease the oxygen that fish and other aquatic life need to survive.

Parabens are preservatives. Parabens have been shown to adversely affect marine ecosystems. More alarmingly parabens have been scientifically shown to damage fragile coral reef systems, affecting coral reproductive cycles, damaging DNA and worsening the effects of coral bleaching.

Love U has not been tested on animals. All Love U formulations have been tested at our Melbourne research and development facility by our passionate and super talented team.

Love U high-performance laundry liquid has been independently tested. Our performance has been measured against the market leading eco and supermarket brands. Below are the test results for the Love U EVERDAY laundry liquid as completed in April 2022.
